I don’t remember the first time I had to pump my own gas, but I definitely remember the first time a few friends of mine from college came down to visit and couldn’t pump their own gas. I had to almost tackle one of them as they got out to grab the pump.
It’s a $500 fine in Oregon for breaking that law.

My watery eyes have no need for that.
(She’s also not even our cat, she’s my girlfriend’s sister’s cat, but we’re taking care of her because Alaska is no place for a feline.)

So I went to Mr. Google to find out about those, and is it no surprise that the first image had me thinking of Ireland? I guess I have a sixth sense about these things.

Well, yes, but only for dogs I’m familiar with (which is like, 10 breeds). So in general, not really.
Fun fact, most “huskies” in America are actually Alaskan Malamutes, including Dubs, the current dog that represents UW at football games. And that poor pup does not like games in hot weather.
