Emmie Lou in motion
I took a couple of videos of Emmie running around yesterday. I’ll post them tomorrow when I’m back at my computer.
Get excited.
I don’t know who to blame
But I just noticed that the NBA playoffs don’t start on Record Store Day this year, ruining my tradition of watching awesome basketball while listening to brand new records at high volumes.
I’m going to assume this is the fault of the NBA lockout, but I don’t know what the original schedule looked like so who knows.
womp womp
Today is payday
Which means I will:
- Get a haircut today.
- Buy my first sportcoat tomorrow because a work conference in a few weeks has a dress code. No, I still won’t consider myself a grownup.
- Eat incredibly cheaply for the next two weeks until I get paid again so I can buy all the records at Record Store Day.
The office across the parking lot is apparently having their smoke break, and there’s a guy out there in a t-shirt who looks like he is shivering and isn’t even smoking.
Dude, it’s 34 degrees outside and it just started snowing. Go back inside, you dolt.
I’m in a coffee shop waiting for Silver Platters to open and trying to catch up on Tumblr, but of course that’s a futile effort with their iPhone app.
So just know that most of you are missing out in some hearts because Tumblr really likes form over function (I’m looking at you, new icons).
Anyway, any recommendations for albums I should pick up?
I just had a George Costanza moment
I had a few dollar bills (which I never usually do), so I put one in the tip jar at the takeout place I was getting my lunch from, since they probably have a crappy credit card rate and would appreciate the cash tip.
But the lady didn’t see me, and then she gave me sort of a dirty look when I crossed out the tip line on my credit card slip.
At least I didn’t try to take money out of the tip jar to put it back in.
