State police trooper Clay Core didn’t offer any points for creativity to a pair of drug suspects who allegedly made an unusually desperate attempt to discard evidence while leading the trooper on a high-speed chase Monday night along Interstate 5 south of Eugene.
Core said the men ripped open several half-pound bags of marijuana and tossed piles of buds out of their car windows while traveling as fast as 110 mph along the freeway.
