This is all worst-case scenario, pie-in-the-sky type talk, but it’s still interesting to think about.
I’ve already predicted that football will basically cease to exist in about 20 years due to what we’re finding out about concussions. Anecdotal evidence is meaningless, but I don’t know anyone in my friend group that is going to let their kids play football. Once that mindset spreads I think it’ll be the death blow.
