so, I read my first Wolverine comic last night… Captain America was there, Wolverine was a petulant 4 year old with an attitude problem and then was really precious at the end. Captain America was just kind of trying to sort things out awkwardly and somewhat ineffectually the whole time. it was pretty great, I wanted to hug them both, so that’s probably a good sign.

Would anyone like to talk about the fact that MIA stirred up controversy for flipping the bird at the Super Bowl but it’s acceptable to say ‘fuck’ in a PG-13 movie? 

Meh. The occasional use isn’t all that bad.

HOWEVER, the other day I was re-watching Airplane II, a PG rated film, and forgot entirely about the metal detector scene. Several pairs of chesticles were on display. How’d that movie get a PG?

Seriously, rules were different back in the day.

At a summer camp one year we showed Big on movie night, and there’s an f-bomb in there that threw us counselors for a loop. Luckily none of the campers ratted us out to their parents.
