Man critically burned in Southeast Seattle fire

So that’s what woke me up this morning.

We live less than half a mile from a Seattle police station, so we’re pretty used to hearing sirens. But if they’re loud enough to wake us up that means they’re pretty close and pretty prolonged.

I know exactly what house that is, and while I’m glad the guy isn’t dead (yet - critical condition is no walk in the park), that lot should have been torn down years ago.
