Awesome. I stayed up until midnight last night watching it, and I’m almost halfway through the first season. I’m actually bummed I have plans tonight because I wouldn’t mind buying a bottle of Jameson and finishing the season instead.
I have to say, watching The Wire makes me really bummed because of how great all of these actors are (specifically the non-white actors; there is some bad acting coming from a few of the white Baltimore PD folks) and how with the exception of a few (Wallace, String, Omar, etc.) most of them haven’t gotten recognized with new work unless it’s a “hey, it’s that guy from The Wire!” cameo.
Seriously, Hollywood, less actors from Tyler Perry shows, more actors from The Wire.
